Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford, born in Bloomsbury (London), was raised by the mother, grandmother, and godparents. Her father abandoned her family. As a child Ford was afflicted with anxiety due to an obsessional-compulsive condition. Ford was first fascinated by acting as a teenager and enrolled in the National Youth Theatre. After being accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School for brief time however, Ford realised that it wasn't the ideal place for her. Ford made an application at the Central School of Speech and Drama and was eventually offered a position on her fourth attempt. A classmate of hers included Shaun Dingwall, who would later have a recurring role in the role of Pete Tyler in Doctor Who. Ford's television debut was in a 1991 episode Surgical Spirit. By the time she graduated, Ford already went by "Catherine Tate". Tate appeared in TV shows including The Bill, Men Behaving Badly as well as London's Burning during the Nineties. The regular theatre work she performed brought her into The Royal Shakespeare Company, for the 2000-2001 Season. Tate gained recognition for her stand-up comedy, which was added to her portfolio in the year 1996.
