Mary McCormack, an American actress, is best known for playing the lead role in TV shows such as "The West Wing, 'In Plain Sight,' and Loaded.' Alongside her television roles, McCormack has also been recognized for her movie roles like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack was the daughter of the owner of an ice cream shop as well as a psychologist who worked in a clinic. The family is not in any connections to the entertainment industry. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the BA program in comparative arts. In the age of twelve when she started her career as an actor in a production of the Christmas opera "Amahl And The Night Visitors". As she continued her career in theatre, McCormack eventually gained roles for both television and film. McCormack's versatility is widely recognized in the present. She is the mother of three children with her husband, producer/director Michael Morris.
