Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 in 1978. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997) are among her numerous credits as an actor. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime by March 2020. She currently manages the Assassination Witness Project and is a major part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. In her work with GI TOC, she focuses on the assassination of people - which includes disappearances - and violence of other types in the context of illicit economies. Research interests include the impact of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights as well as legislation and policies. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. She has an LL.M. qualification with a concentration in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate of The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a magnacum laude degree in Legal Sciences and Social Sciences. She was a trained lawyer and worked for 4 years with a public law litigation firm. In her past, she was employed in non-governmental organizations headquarter in Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
